We are delighted to announce that TechnoCarbon has won the prestigious JEC Composites Startup Booster Award in the ‘Process Manufacturing and Engineering’ category at JEC World 2024. This recognition underlines our commitment to sustainable innovation and the positive impact we aim to make in the materials industry.
Launched in 2017, JEC Composites Startup Booster has been organised in three different regions (Europe, USA and Asia) and has already fostered the emergence of more than 900 innovative projects from over 60 countries, 100 finalists and 28 winners, including FibreCoat, Arevo, Continuous Composites, CompPair, Fortify and Vartega….
The competition is open to entrepreneurs, SMEs, start-ups and academic spin-offs developing innovative projects in the field of composites and advanced materials. At the 2024 event, 20 start-ups, including TechnoCarbon, were selected to present their innovations at the Startup Village and compete for the JEC Composites Startup Booster awards.
JEC World is the world’s leading trade fair for composite materials and their applications. Held in Paris, it is the sector’s flagship event, welcoming all the key players in the composite materials industry in a spirit of innovation, business and meetings.
Our success in the ‘Process Manufacturing and Engineering’ category reflects TechnoCarbon’s commitment to sustainability. Our CarbonFibreStone innovation was recognised for its alignment with contemporary objectives. Our focus on positive environmental impact was appreciated by the jury, which included Airbus, Owens Corning, Mercedes-Benz AG, Safran Corporate Ventures and Techstars Sustainability Paris.
This win is an important milestone for TechnoCarbon. It strengthens our credibility and opens up new opportunities to collaborate with partners who share the same objectives. It also testifies to the commitment and expertise of our team.
